SPRING 2010 CONVENTION Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada April 23-24-25, 2010 (EXPANDED DATES)
The Spring 2010 MBS Convention will be held during the weekend of April 23, 24, & 25, 2010 (i.e., Friday, Saturday and Sunday) in Vancouver, British Columbia The Spring 2010 Vancouver, British Columbia convention notice is included with the issue Motor Coach Age which will be mailed to members in late January 2010. TRAVEL NOTE: All U.S. - MBS members who wish to attend the Vancouver convention MUST HAVE a valid US passport to enter Canada and for re-entry in to the United States. If you do not have a valid passport, please consult your local post office for details on how to obtain one. Room rate is CA$89.00 (plus tax and fees) per room per night single or double. Hotel reservations must be made by April 10, 2010. Hotel room space and rate cannot be guaranteed after that date. Hotel front desk & reservation number is: (604) 681-2211. Convention Registration: The MBS convention registration fee is US$40.00 per person (check or money order drawn on as US Bank) for one, two or all three days. U.S. Citizens who are planning to attend this convention are reminded that they will need a U.S. passport in order to travel between the U.S. and Canada. To assure that space will be available for the garage and facility tours, advance registration is strongly recommended. In case of any shortage of seat space on the tour bus, persons with advance reservations will be given priority. Convention Activities: Registration and sign-in will take place in the hotel lobby starting at 7:30 AM on each day, and buses will depart promptly at 8:00 AM. The garage and facility tours are expected to return to the hotel by 6:00 PM. A membership meeting will commence at 8:00 PM on Saturday evening, it is usually preceded by a flea market at 7:00 PM in the meeting room. These times may fluctuate depending upon the arrival of the Saturday garage tour. Garage & Facility Tour Schedule: Friday: Vancouver Island, Victoria (BC provincial capital) and Nanaimo Saturday: Vancouver - Coast Mountain (BC Transit) bus and rail facilities and West Vancouver Sunday: Historic Vehicle Day - buses will be supplied by Blue & White Coaches, Ltd. (Nostalgia Tours Inc.)
