Motor Coach Age

Motor Coach Today is the newer of the Motor Bus Society's two publications, beginning in 1994. It features contemporary photographs of transit and charter equipment, as well as rosters for recent bus purchases of transit systems around the country.

Featured in the October-December 2000 Issue Of Motor Coach Today:

  • Cape Cod And the Islands, Part I: Transportation On Martha's Vineyard, by Charles Sullivan and George Zeiba.
  • 1996 Atlanta Olympic Buses. Depending on the source, between 1499 and 1525 buses were transported to Atlanta by MARTA for the 1996 Summer Olympic Games. Some were new deliveries, some were buses on their last trips. MCT is currently compiling information for a roster of which buses were used in Atlanta. Should you know which specific buses were used by your favorite transit agency down in Atlanta, please contact the Editor.
  • An overview of the Michigan state-owned bus program.
  • Gatlinburg, TN - operated with trackless trolleys.
