FLING ADMISSION FEE: None, FREE

PARKING FEE: None, FREE (parking at main Museum only - cars, buses, rv's.)

SHUTTLE TO / FROM ANNEX:  FREE, operating 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM.

SPECIAL HAPPENINGS:  Memorial Annex's Mortgage Burning Ceremony.
Book Author's Autograph table. Six authors, including 2 new writers, committed!


WHAT:  Once a year, the Museum of Bus Transportation opens its Memorial Annex and Grounds to the public by displaying there all the vehicles not currently on the Museum floor. The Annex is then set up inside for a large bus memorabilia and collectibles flea market, the largest of its kind in many years within North America. Offered will be bus toys, models, badges, photographs, books, fare boxes, uniforms, magazines, depot signs, destination roll signs, and many other objects. (New vendors are always welcome as long as your sales are bus collectible and bus industry related. Please contact us for prevailing regulations and to reserve space inside the Annex building.  Space will be available at $25.00 per.. One 8-foot table FREE with reserved space.  Market space is limited and only those who make reservations will be accommodated if available space is filled before June 7th. No sales are allowed on the outside of the Annex Building or at the Bus Museum Building itself.)

EATS: Hot food and cold drinks will be offered by Carry The Light Ministries, in return for donations to the Museum. This means you eat free if you can not afford a donation!

AND: The Museum of Bus Transportation  will also be open at its usual admission fees and offer complete access to all the antique auto and vintage bus displays and showcases on three floors as well as the large Gift Shop. Museum and Shop hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM.

WHERE: Park and meet at the Museum of Bus Transportation, 161 Museum Drive, Hershey, Pa. (There is NO auto, bus, rv parking allowed on the Annex grounds.) The Museum is 1 mile west of Hersheypark, Chocolate World, and Hersheypark Drive on Route 39. Route 39 is also exit # 77 of I-81 - drive east 4.5 miles to the Museum on the right.

OVERNIGHT:  There are many motels on Route 39 and in the vicinity of Exit 77 of I-81 including Scottish Inn, Quality Inn, Country Hearth, Super 8, and the Marriott Springhill Suites.  Be advised - book early.  Hershey is a big tourist town and draws a lot of visitors. It is easy to make a whole weekend of it.  Bring the family to the Fling!
