10th Annual - Mass Transit & Trolley Modelers Convention

Admission: $20 - Taken at the door.  Spouse & Children - Free

Dealers - $40 per table (8' x 2.5')
Dealer pays only for the tables required, no admission fee.
However, any helpers that assist dealers must pay admission fee.
Dealer spouse and children free.

All proceeds, after expenses, will go to the Shore Line Trolley Museum.

Featuring:

  • Restored Antique Buses - Displayed in the parking lot.

The Gymnasium at Rutgers is easily accessible from the New Brunswick train station that serves NJ Transit and Amtrak trains, as well as buses from NYC's Port Authority Bus Terminal. There is a free shuttle bus that runs on a regular schedule, to and from the student center - provided by Campus Bus. Use routes L, F, or EE. The bus stop is on George St, at Somerset St, in front of "J&J Headquarters" - at the east end of the New Brunswick station . When using the Campus shuttle bus, please mention to the driver that you are attending this convention at the Rutgers Gymnasium next to the Student Center on College Ave.

There is a full food court and 2 ATMs located in the Student Center - next to the Gymnasium

Jersey Central Chapter - NRHS Train & Transportation Show

Largest railroadiana and transportation show in NJ!

Date:  March 2011 (date TBD - usually the first Sunday)

Where:  Mother Seton Regional HS - Exit 135 GS Parkway, Clark, NJ

When:  9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Admission:  $5.00

MID-ATLANTIC

Museum of Bus Transportation - Spring Fling 2011

Dates:  (TBD) usually last weekend in June

When:   9:00 AM -l 3:00 PM

Where:  Museum of Bus Transportation's Memorial Annex & Grounds - Hershey, PA

Admission:  Free

Parking: (parking at main Museum only - cars, buses, rv's.)
Shuttle Service to/from Annex:  FREE, operating 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM.
Park and meet at the Museum of Bus Transportation, 161 Museum Drive, Hershey, Pa. (There is NO auto, bus, rv parking allowed on the Annex grounds.) The Museum is 1 mile west of Hersheypark, Chocolate World, and Hersheypark Drive on Route 39. Route 39 is also exit # 77 of I-81 - drive east 4.5 miles to the Museum on the right.

What to expect:  Once a year, the Museum of Bus Transportation opens its Memorial Annex and Grounds to the public by displaying there all the vehicles not currently on the Museum floor. The Annex is then set up inside for a large bus memorabilia and collectibles flea market, the largest of its kind in many years within North America. Offered will be bus toys, models, badges, photographs, books, fare boxes, uniforms, magazines, depot signs, destination roll signs, and many other objects. (New vendors are always welcome as long as your sales are bus collectible and bus industry related. Please contact us for prevailing regulations and to reserve space inside the Annex building.  Space will be available at $25.00 per.. One 8-foot table FREE with reserved space.  Market space is limited and only those who make reservations will be accommodated if available space is filled before June 7th. No sales are allowed on the outside of the Annex Building or at the Bus Museum Building itself.)

Also: The Museum of Bus Transportation  will also be open at its usual admission fees and offer complete access to all the antique auto and vintage bus displays and showcases on three floors as well as the large Gift Shop. Museum and Shop hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM.
